Once we parked the car we saw the signs that pointed us in the direction of the festival. As we walked the signs stopped showing up so now what to do? There was a baseball game in procession so we stopped and ask them for directions. It was so funny remember the same which way do we go and one points in one direction and another points in another direction? Well that's the answer we got. We ended up going one way and of course it was the longest way. LOL
Finally we saw a big sign that pointed that the Momo (peach) Matsuri was this way. So glad we reached the destination. Ric is the leader of us ladies as you can see in this picture. The statue states that we are in the park of Koga Japan!!
Loving all the blooming flowers, there are many different types of peach trees and there many different looking flowers. This park has over 2000 flowering trees.
The pictures will never do this park justice as the huge amount of trees were breathtaking. I have never seen so many peach trees in location before in my life.
Want a drink? Loved this old pump to get a drink of water. Didn't try it but did want a picture to share we my blog friends.
I loved this old tree even though it had no leaves yet it got my attention. It reminded me of the ugly duckling and had a beauty all its own. I don't know how old is it but it looks like it has battled many storms.
Look how it wrapped branches around itself to support itself this tree will never give up on life. A tree like me, I will never give up either life is such a wonderful thing. Battle your storms with God by your side and life will always be good for you.
Ok it time for more adventure through the park. The beauty of all the beautiful peachy colored flowers up against the wonderful blue skies make them even prettier if that is possible.
This painter has found himself a nice place to paint the beautiful surroundings he is sitting in. WOW
MORE OF THESE LOVELY PEACH TREES.
Trying to give you a view at what 2,000 peach trees look like from my vision.
Love the building in the background.
Here's a lady protecting herself from the sun. Love this picture she is just following her husband as he takes the snapshots for them to enjoy later.
OH we saw the Peach Princesses roaming around the trees and ended up getting our picture taken with them. I feel honored to get this photo with them. Thanks Ric and Teresa for all these wonderful places you have taken me to. I am so glad that you also love to travel and tour around Japan.
There is music playing and we are now following the sound. Hawaii ladies are here for this special matsuri (festival). Stood and watched the dancers and they had very good skills at their dancing abilities. It's nice to watch them tell a story with their hands and body.
Let's go check out the fair food and see what they have to offer.
Time to eat Teresa got okonomiyaki, and I got yakisoba (fried noodles).
Watching the show of hula girls and eating our lunch.
Look in the background there are people dancing with them.
Want a rickshaw ride?
